I already have a Shopify store. Can I just swap the gateway?+
Yes. Install the Clover plugin on Shopify, add your credentials, your existing products and pages stay the same. We help with the swap.
Do I need a developer?+
Not for the big platforms. Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace all have official plugins. Custom sites need a few hours of dev work to wire up the API.
What about chargebacks and fraud?+
Clover runs 3D Secure, address verification, and a fraud scoring engine on every online transaction. You can review and block suspicious orders before they ship.
Will it slow down my site?+
No. The hosted checkout is a single iframe, lazy-loaded only on the checkout page. Your homepage and product pages stay as fast as they are today.
Are the in-store and online rates the same?+
